The most common destination countries have been Cyprus, United States and the United Kingdom. Overall, 88 percent of the asylum applications have been rejected. The most successful have been the refugees in Canada and Italy.A total of 333 people fled to the United States from Nepal. With 18 positive decisions, 7.35 percent of all new applications have been accepted. Another 227 applications were rejected, and no decisions were made on those remaining in 2021.
