Asylum applications and refugees in Poland
7,346 asylum applications by refugees were received in 2021 in Poland — according to UNHCR. Most of them came from Belarus, Afghanistan and from Iraq. A total of 4,070 decisions have been made on initial applications. Around 25% of them were answered positively. 75 percent of asylum applications have been rejected in the first instance.
