Asylum applications and refugees in Slovenia3,458 asylum applications by refugees were received in 2020 in Slovenia - according to UNHCR. Most of them came from Morocco, Afghanistan and from Pakistan. A total of 727 decisions have been made on initial applications. Which were around 10% answered positively. 90 percent of asylum applications have been rejected in the first instance. Most successful have been the applications of refugees from West Bank and from Turkey.
