Yezidism

Yazidism is originally from northern Iraq, Syria and southern Turkey, where it forms a minority. The Yazidi religion is related to Christianity and Islam, but forms a separate religion.

Decades of persecution and marginalization in their home areas resulted in numerous Yazidi cultural and religious centers around the world through emigration. Most of them live in Germany.
