The most destination countries hereof have been Botswana, South Africa and the United States. Overall, 66 percent of the asylum applications have been rejected. The most successful have been the refugees in Thailand and in Italy.A total of 173 people fled to the United States from Zimbabwe. With 27 positive decisions, 43.55 percent of all new applications have been accepted.
