Bosnian speaking countries

Bosnian is the official language in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is spoken in 4 more countries as monther tongue by a part of the population. The Bosnian language (native name: bosanski jezik) has its roots in the Indo-European language family.

With a share of around 45%, it is most widespread in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A total of about 1.7 m people worldwide speak Bosnian as their mother tongue.
