While most countries have suffered significant losses, Tunisia has certainly held its own. The tourism sector alone slumped by around 62 percent. The unemployment rate rose from 15.1 to 16.6 percent. The inflation rate has fallen from 6.7 percent previously to 5.6 percent by the end of 2020.
