
Anglican Communion
The Anglican Communion is an autonomous denomination within Christianity. In its entirety, it refers to the individual daughter churches of the "Church of England." In 1531, the English bishops split from Rome. Since then, the head of the Anglican Churches has been the English head of state.A total of 38 churches belong to the Anglican Communion.
