Development of telephone and internet connections
With an average download speed of 175.08 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Romania ranks 11th in an international comparison. The upload rate was only 112.08 Mbit/second (9th place).In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Romania comes 43rd with a download speed of 47.02 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 12 Mbit was only enough for 44th place.
