Development of telephone and internet connections
With an average download speed of 76.01 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Latvia ranks 56th in an international comparison. The upload rate was only 51.20 Mbit/second (36th place).In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Latvia comes 34th with a download speed of 58.90 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 11 Mbit was only enough for 62nd place.
