Development of telephone and internet connections
With an average download speed of 44.60 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Greece ranks 92nd in an international comparison. The upload rate of only 7.6 Mbit/second was significantly lower (146th place).In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Greece comes 31st with a download speed of 63.60 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 13 Mbit was only enough for 38th place.
