Development of inflation rates in Palau
The inflation rate for consumer prices in Palau moved over the past 15 years between -1.3% and 12.0%. For 2017, an inflation rate of 1.3% was calculated.
During the observation period from 2002 to 2017, the average inflation rate was 3.2%
per year. Overall, the price increase was 59.53 %. An item that cost 100 Dollar in 2002 was so charged 159.53 Dollar in the beginning of 2018.
In only a few countries negative inflation rates are achieved. This means that the general price level is declining and consumer prices get cheaper.
