Development of inflation rates in San Marino
The inflation rate for consumer prices in San Marino moved over the past 13 years between 0.1% and 4.3%. For 2017, an inflation rate of 1.0% was calculated.
During the observation period from 2004 to 2017, the
average inflation rate was 2.1% per year. Overall, the price increase was 30.56 %. An item that cost 100 Euro in 2004 was so charged 130.56 Euro in the beginning of 2018.
As the price increases are consistently in the positive range, this means that goods and services in the country have become increasingly more expensive over the years. In comparison to other countries, the ample price increases are a bit out of the ordinary. This may be a sign for a political or economic set of problems.
