Development of telephone and internet connections
With an average download speed of 90.22 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Lithuania ranks 39th in an international comparison. The upload rate was 90.38 Mbit/second (19th place).In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Lithuania comes 36th with a download speed of 54.66 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 12 Mbit was only enough for 54th place.
