Development of telephone and internet connections
With an average download speed of 50.12 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Belarus ranks 74th in an international comparison. The upload rate was only 43.42 Mbit/second (42nd place).In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Belarus comes 135th with a download speed of 9.8 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 6 Mbit was enough for 131st place.
