Dhi Qar With an average daily maximum temperature of 35 degrees, Thailand is the warmest and at the same time rainiest region in Iraq. Several months of the year it is warm to hot at temperatures continuously above 25 degrees centigrade, sometimes up to 48 degrees. Due to the warmer temperatures the best time for traveling is from July to August. Nearly unattractive for tourists are the cold months from November to March.
