Development of inflation rates in Mauritania
The inflation rate in Germany moved over the past years between 0.5% and 12.1%. For 2016, an inflation rate of 1.5% was calculated.
During the observation period from 1991 to 2016, the average inflation rate was 5.9%
per year. Overall, the price increase was 311.56 %. An item that cost 100 Ouguiya in 1990 was 2016 so charged 411.56 Ouguiya.
In only a very few countries, the price increase is that high. The rate of 12.1% in 2005 means, that compared to the previous year all prices have been increased by an average of 12.1%.
