Birth- and deathrate in Guam
Population growth is the result of the birth rate, the mortality rate and the migration rate. The example of the year 2019 in the graph: The population in Guam increased by about 1,530 inhabitants. In the same year, the death rate was 5.3 per 1000 people (~ 870 deaths) and the birth rate was 16.5 per 1000 people (~ 2,730 births). As a result, around 330 inhabitants have migrated to other countries.Over the past 10 years, the number of average deaths per year was 822 in Guam. The number of births was 2,773 annually.
