The climate in Guam

In Guam, as in all equatorial countries, there is a tropical climate. Unlike in Europe or the USA, there is almost no difference between the seasons. The daylight hours vary little, and the temperature differences between summer and winter are also lesser. Depending on the season, the average daytime temperatures range between 30 and 32 degrees. In the colder months and depending in the region, the temperature lowers down to 24°C in a month's average.

Guam is an island state in the Marianas archipelago. The dwarf state has a total area of only 540 km² and a total coastline of 149 km. This area is about 3.1 times the size of Washington, D.C. The island group consists of about 10 islands. Guam has no direct neighbours. The distance between New York City and the Capital Hagåtña is about 12,810 km.
