Birth- and deathrate in Turkmenistan
Population growth is the result of the birth rate, the mortality rate and the migration rate. The example of the year 2018 in the graph: The population in Turkmenistan increased by about 93,200 inhabitants. In the same year, the death rate was 7.0 per 1000 people (~ 40,600 deaths) and the birth rate was 23.8 per 1000 people (~ 137,000 births). As a result, around 3,200 inhabitants have migrated to other countries.The development of births and deaths is displayed in the following graph.
