Development of inflation rates in the Dominican Republic
The inflation rate in Germany moved over the past years between 0.8% and 51.5%. For 2016, an inflation rate of 1.6% was calculated.
During the observation period from 1991 to 2016, the average inflation rate was 10.5%
per year. Overall, the price increase was 954.38 %. An item that cost 100 Peso in 1990 was 2016 so charged 1,054.38 Peso.
In only a very few countries, the price increase is that high. The rate of 51.5% in 2004 means, that compared to the previous year all prices have been increased by an average of 51.5%.
