Birth- and deathrate in Isle of Man

Population growth is the result of the birth rate, the mortality rate and the migration rate. The example of the year 2007 in the graph: The population in Isle of Man increased by about 1,120 inhabitants. In the same year, the death rate was 9.8 per 1000 people (~ 800 deaths) and the birth rate was 11.4 per 1000 people (~ 930 births). As a result, around 990 inhabitants have to be added by migration from other countries.
