Population growth is the result of the birth rate, the mortality rate and the migration rate. The example of the year 2020 in the graph: The population in Trinidad and Tobago increased by about 4,520 inhabitants. In the same year, the death rate was 8.6 per 1000 people (~ 12,000 deaths) and the birth rate was 12.2 per 1000 people (~ 17,100 births). As a result, around 580 inhabitants have migrated to other countries.Over the past 10 years, the number of average deaths per year was 11,195 in Trinidad and Tobago.
