Birth- and deathrate in Guatemala

Population growth is the result of the birth rate, the mortality rate and the migration rate. The example of the year 2016 in the graph: The population in Guatemala increased by about 330,000 inhabitants. In the same year, the death rate was 4.8 per 1000 people (~ 78,500 deaths) and the birth rate was 25.3 per 1000 people (~ 411,000 births). As a result, around 2,500 inhabitants have migrated to other countries.
