The hurricane did not make direct landfall in Western Sahara. On November 15th, 2020 at 4:00 pm it had the shortest distance at about 334 km northeast of Laayoune Plage.
Instead, the first landfall occurred near Calheta in Portugal on November 15th at 10:00 am.
