Greater Arab Free Trade Area
The GAFTA is a trade agreement that currently consists of 18 countries in Western Asia and Northern Africa.
All member states comprise a total area of 11.46 million km² and about 432.91 million people. This is 7.6 percent of the habitable area around the world and 5.5 percent of the world population. With an economic output of 2.822 trillion US dollars annually, they represent around 2.9 percent of the global economy. The value of all exported goods from these 18 countries was 833.43 billion US dollars per year at last count.
