Fiji Daylight Time (FJDT)
The FJDT is the daylight saving time (also called summertime) of the Fiji Time (FJT). The differences of the several time zones to each other are always specified in relation to the "Universal Time Coordinated" (UTC), the time on the prime meridian (zero longitude). New York, for example, is on the 74th degree of longitude west and thus in the UTC-5 time zone. In the summer the clocks are switched ahead by 1 hour. The Fiji Daylight Time is consistent with UTC +13 and applies only to Fiji.
