Swazi is an official language in Eswatini and South Africa but is not spoken in any other countries.

With 1.48 million native speakers, Swazi has the highest prevalence in South Africa. As a percentage of the total population, the largest share of around 90 percent is in Eswatini. A total of about 2.6 million people worldwide speak Swazi as their mother tongue.
