Currency reserves for the Moldovan leuAccording to the International Monetary Fund, the total broad money (M3) amounted to MDL 126.02 billion at the end of 2022. For currency hedging, reserves were held in a total amount of 72.59 billion leus. This corresponds to a ratio of 1:1.7. Or in other words, 10 of 17 leus are deposited with a countervalue, which is internationally already above average.
