Chiang Mai is one of the coldest regions in Thailand with an average daily high temperature of only 33 degrees centigrade. High humidity and high temperatures are making the weather pleasant at times, but also and partly tropical hot and humid. It is yearlong warm or hot. Because of the lower temperatures the best time for traveling is in December.Try to avoid the rainy season from May to September.
