Ulaanbaatar is one of the coldest regions in Mongolia with an average daily high temperature of only 7 degrees centigrade. The climate is predominantly frosty cold and in the winter months the mercury column does not even reach the positive range. In the cold season even the maximum temperatures are well below zero. Due to the warmer temperatures the best time for traveling is from April to September. Winter athletes will find their favorite weather conditions from November to March.
