Almaty Oblysy is one of the warmest region in Kazakhstan with an average daily high temperature of 17 degrees. The climate is very changeable and offers varied seasons with deep winters and warm summers. It rarely gets really warm here. Due to the warmer temperatures the best time for traveling is from May to September. Winter athletes will find their favorite weather conditions from December to February.

Up to 39, people perceive the air as slightly uncomfortable, and above 40, as very uncomfortable. Values above 45 are dangerous in the long run and often lead to heat stroke.
