Development of telephone and internet connections
With an average download speed of 49.61 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Mexico ranks 80th in an international comparison. The upload rate of only 18.79 Mbit/second was significantly lower (96th place).In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Mexico comes 76th with a download speed of 25.92 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 11 Mbit was enough for 73rd place.
