Geography
Bouvet Island is an island state in the South Atlantic Ocean and is about 2500 km southwest of the African southern tip. The island is almost completely covered by glaciers. The dwarf state has a total area of only 49 km² (19 mi²) and a total coastline of 30 km (18.6 mi). This land area is about 1.5 times the size of Manhattan.Bouvet Island has no direct neighbors.
