Birth- and deathrate in Aruba
Population growth is the result of the birth rate, the mortality rate and the migration rate. The example of the year 2019 in the graph: The population in Aruba increased by about 460 inhabitants. In the same year, the death rate was 9.2 per 1000 people (~ 970 deaths) and the birth rate was 11.8 per 1000 people (~ 1,240 births). As a result, around 190 inhabitants have to be added by migration from other countries.Over the past 10 years, the number of average deaths per year was 891 in Aruba. The number of births was 1,179 annually.
