Salta is one of the warmest region in Argentina with an average daily high temperature of 27 degrees centigrade. With a yearly average of 27 degrees the climate is very warm, but has only a very few tropical and humid months. Several months of the year it is warm to hot at temperatures continuously above 25 degrees centigrade, sometimes up to 32 degrees. Dued to the lesser rain the best time for traveling is from May to October. The most rain days occur from from November to April.
