Telecommunication in Mauritius

With an average download speed of 27.58 Mbit/second for fixed-network broadband internet, Mauritius ranks 116th in an international comparison. The upload rate of only 9.9 Mbit/second was significantly lower (128th place).
In mobile internet, i.e., on tablets and smartphones, Mauritius comes 89th with a download speed of 23.15 Mbit/second. The upload speed of around 10 Mbit was enough for 88th place.
